Membership Requirements

A candidate for membership must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience
  2. Have attended at least one prior Summer Convention or Mini Convention
  3. Be recommended by a member in good standing

Upon meeting the above requirements application may be made to take the required oral entrance exam in one of the following subjects: Ballet, Tap, or Jazz.

Membership exams are given beginning at 9:30 am on the Saturday prior to the Summer Convention.

The completed application along with the $40 nonrefundable examinations fee is sent to the Examinations Chair.

Applicants must register for Convention as Nonmembers

Dues are $60 annually and payable at the annual Summer Convention. If not attending please mail dues to treasurer. Dues are considered delinquent after September 1st. Failure to pay dues for 2 consecutive years will result in deletion from membership.
